  1. I went to a buffet once , ate 5 plate of white tuna, guess what I did for a week 😆😂, oh the memories, can’t control it

  2. Left to right: Ebi (shrimp), Madai or something similar (Red Snapper), Hirame or something similar (might be labeled as fluke or flounder), Salmon, Salmon, Chu Toro, Chu Toro.

  3. Its hard to tell from a picture what a small cut of fish like that is without the skin on it, that’s why everyone is just throwing out a bunch of random fish lol

  4. Anyone saying escolar is wrong. Escolar is pure white and turns yellow as it ages.

Both the white fish here actually appear to be the same, and judging by the red bits on one, I would honestly argue they’re BOTH tilapia.

Of course, tons of fish look the same. So it’s also possible this is flounder, fluke, or snapper.

If they told you the one with the red bit is yellowtail, then it’s likely the other one is as well but these look too pale for me to say either is yellowtail.

  5. Amberjack, yellowtail, snapper, flounder, escolar and blue fin are my favorites. Blue fin being the outlier, i fucking LOVE white fish.
