I would suggest calling your credit card company. Explain your situation and request a temporary increase in your credit limit to cover the cost of the air tickets.
Call your CC card company and ask for a limit increase (they do temporary ones as well, for buying things like plane tickets.)
There might be an option to pay in cash at the conbini.
Cool? Thanks!
My CC provider’s website has a temporary increase application, one of the reasons you can quick-select is “buying plane tickets”.
I heard it is not always an option but you might be able to pay the card even if your balance is 0, and it will increase your limit by the amount you added. If you put more than the limit it might take more time to process.
