I’m planning my autumn holiday in Japan, 10 days + 2 of travel, and I’m getting mad lol. I have already been to Japan for 6 weeks for business travel in Sapporo, during these weeks I spent one weekend in Tokyo for the TGS ’22, then 3 days in Kyoto, and another 2 days in Tokyo before leaving. So it’s not my first time, but for my fiance, it is (my fiance is not a big fan of Japanese culture, she likes a lot sushi and big cities 😀 )
My temporary itinerary:
* **19/11**: We will arrive in Osaka at midday on the 19th of November. Hotel in Dotonbori to spend the afternoon and the night.
* **20/11**: Morning: visit the castle of Osaka then we’ll move to Kyoto. We’ll stay near the Nijō Castle, I have free nights at the Crown Plaza. Then Kiyomizu-dera area, and Gion’s streets. Then evening in Pontocho
* **21/11**: Kinkakuji early in the morning, then Arashiyama. **suggestion?** Ginkaku-Ji then Philospher’s Path and Yasaka Shrine in the night maybe?
* **22/11**: Fushimi Inari and Tofuku-Ji. **suggestion?**
* **23/11**: maybe half a day in Kyoto, then we travel to Kinosaki onsen. Any suggestion for Ryokan with/without private onsen?
* **24/11:** morning in Kinosaki, then travel to Tokyo Shinjuku
* **25/11**: Day trip to Kawaguchiko. can change between other days looking weather forecast
* **26/11**: Harajuku, Meiji Jingu and Shibuya. Tokyo Tower in the night(without going up)
* **27/11**: Asakusa, Ueno, Akihabara, and Sky Tree (sunset is the best time for it?)
* **28/11**: still open, maybe Ginza, Tsukiji and teamLab or day trip to Nikko
* **29/11**: flight from NRT at 19:30 so we spend last day for shopping
Probably I will do the JRP for 7 days from 23. Buying it before the price will increase.
Now I would like to hear from you guys. I think my itinerary is full but not totally 🙂 I’m not even sure about some things:
* Is Kinosaki worth it or should I look for some other Onsen-Town?
* any suggestion for my Kyoto itinerary? Maybe on the 23rd I can go early to Kinosaki then on the 24th I can leave early to go to Hiroshima-Miyajima and then to Tokyo directly
* Other town suggested during my trip? I just bought the flight, so I’m open to changing my plans in case of a good suggestion 😀
* We should spend more time in Osaka, or travel there for night from Kyoto?
