Just a quick heads up, ePacket will disappear at the end of this month. I’ve been told this by staff twice recently. Instead of it, you’ll have to add insurance to normal airmail. The new price for the replacement service appears to be slightly more expensive. Surprise surprise!

Before ePacket, there was only Small Packet.
ePacket Air was Small Packet Air where you had to use computer-created documents instead of hand-written documents. To encourage people to do that, a small discount was offered. (ePacket Lite was Small Packet SAL).
Now those electronic documents have become (or are becoming) required for all packages, the idea of dangling a carrot to encourage people to use electronic documents is no longer necessary. So ePacket is disappearing and things are going back to how they used to be.
Yeah not really a big loss about ePacket, the real problem is airmail rates going up (again)… Sigh.
Can anyone explain epacket to me?
When i try ship to UK for example, im only given the option of EMS and regular air or surface.
