When I get my driver’s licence updated do they take the photo there or do I need to bring one with me?
I heard theres a ski ticket event, in Tokyo, when resorts will setup tents and sell discount tickets before the start of the season. Anyone familiar with this? Thanks in advance

I have come into possession of super old currencies from around the world. Lots of Japanese Government Pesos from when Japan occupied the Phillipines, some older silver coins from the UK, etc.
I can’t imagine these all being worth much, but are there any good places in Tokyo to help with valuing these currencies and selling them?
Just signed a contract for a new apartment. I signed at the owner side’s agent, my agent didn’t even show up. Is this normal? Also from know on I should expect zero interaction with my agent and only with that of the owner, right?
Previous times my and the owner agent turned out to be the same company so I’m not sure.

Alright, actually stupid question as a soon-to-be student. I’m looking at SakuraMobile now and it’s not so bad, I think, at ¥2,980/month for VOICE + 4GB. But I’d rather buy the data only plan but wondering if it comes with a jp number (ik it’s stupid)? Also is Mobal or any other operator better than SakuraMobile? Thanks.

Passport renewal photos: Has anyone had their passport photo background digitally altered and not had any problems having their passport renewed?
I’ve only gone to one photograph shop to get my photo taken, but the standard ID photos here seem to use a blue background. The photo guidelines for my passport requires a white background and specifically states not to digitally “remove” the background.
For buying concert tickets, on the band’s website there’s an option to go through the English site where it says “Purchasing Tickets from Overseas” and lets you use a foreign credit card. I live and work here but don’t have a Japanese credit card yet and it’s much easier for me to go through this way since I have a hard time with the Japanese purchasing site and translating it. If I purchase tickets using the English website would there be any issue since it says ‘from overseas’?
I have a 5 years zairyu card and I didn’t leave the country yet. In 2 weeks I will go back for few weeks in my home country. Is there anything I must do to be able to re-enter smoothly ? Is there some reentry thing to do at some immigration place or wherever ?
