Hi. I’m looking to upgrade my gpu soon and looking at the prices on Newegg, they were selling a Sapphire Nitro 7900xtx for 173k yen, while [kakaku.com](https://kakaku.com) displays the lowest price as around 190k yen.
I was wondering how would you RMA the card if something goes wrong?

For warranty, you’d probably have to send it to the US, since it ships from there. Also, there is no guarantee Sapphire will accept to send it back to Japan, since they are warrantying an item for US, and may only aggree to send to to a US address.
Second thing is the consumption tax. They included the expected amount to pay, which is probably right as it’s a flat 10%, but have not accounted for any “fees” like UPS or Fedex taking flat fees to process taxes, contrary to [amazon.com](https://amazon.com) taking care of everything.
Also, since I just checked [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BR6JWP1Q/](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BR6JWP1Q/) The same one is available on amazon US for 168k Yen, shipping/tax all included.
Is 17k worth losing piece of mind? Just pony up the extra and buy locally.
