Tello Users?

Hello I’m moving to Tokyo very soon and ported my US number to Tello so that I can receive text and call via wifi and also to keep my number.

Quick question that I couldn’t figure it out from online – can I still get US call and text alerts even if I have Japanese SIM inserted? (My Tello is eSIM)

Or do I need to change the mode to ‘Tello’ or eSIM in order for me to accept the US text and calls?

I have Iphone 12 Pro.

  2. I use tello esim, and use wifi calling when abroad and it works on my sim card international data plan. So the esim needs to be active with wifi calling active.
