  1. Do you only drop the topic when the topic is the exact same word as the word before? More specifically I’m wondering about with the ko so a do words. As a super simple example, which one would sound more natural?

    A: これは だれの りんご ですか。

    B: それは わたしの (りんご) です。

    OR

    B: わたしの (りんご)です。

    So with kosoado words do you still state the topic in the response because the subject is no longer “this” and becomes “that”? Or is it because it’s the same thing you’re talking about you can drop the topic to sound more natural? Or does it not matter?
