Ok so I get the general gist of things about applying and all. To provide some context I may probably go abroad to japan because it’s safer for me since I have relatives there and so I’ll be applying for imac-u fgl program, some of these questions might be basic and I know that I just need reassurance because my school doesn’t have people who go to japan and so this is all on me. Also I take ib
So submitting my admission is in jan 2024
I need to do an ielts get 6+ and/or toefl exam and get 79+
I don’t need to do an eju exam as I understand because I’m doing ib(mathaa, physics both hl and chemistry sl)
They had a weird graph but honestly I feel like something’s wrong with it because the ib scores on it were all failes even tho the other systems had like hella good grades if someone understands it pls do tell
Also they say send scores of my ib exams but my exams are in april. I’m pretty sure they are talking about predicted here but do pls correct if I’m wrong
Idk if I’m missing something here but I think generally that’s it
There is an exam after I finish my first stage if I hopefully pass it.
Now I wanted to ask how are these exams I saw the amc-u sample test it was ok the math was a bit hard but other than that it was ok but there’s no imac-u sample test
There is an oral interview as well which I think I would be a lot more nervous about so pls provide information if you know like how they typically go and how they work
There is also an exam which I need to pay 5000 yen for is that separate or is it the same one
Ok this shouldn’t be so low down the list but I’m kinda scared about things. The university does not list any grade requirements at ALL for ib they have 19,20,21 on the graph which I spoke about but these are all failes(no dioloma received basically) so idk
Finally people who went or are in tohoku can you tell me how is it there especially as a foreigner I know I’ll be quit happy there but I’m also quit stressed especially since things are moving faster than I anticipated
Thank you and sorry for wasting your time with this long post 🙏
