Got this is their Shibuya location yesterday, all in it was 6600 yen. I have a couple questions though:
1 – what is the yellow thing? It was the only one I didn’t really enjoy. (not the tamago, the other one)
2 – am I supposed to do something with the shrimp head? It seemed like it was fried. I just left it.

The yellow thing is fish egg roe that’s been pressed into that shape. I forget what fish it’s from.
The fried shrimp head is for you to eat and it’s very tasty.
And that meal looks great.
1. Looks like herring roe (kazunoko) which isn’t commonly served in my area.
2. You’re supposed to eat the whole fried shrimp head. May look intimidating but that one you have there isn’t a bad at all to start out with.
I always thought the fried head from sweet shrimp (amaebi) was just for decoration at first so I avoided it but chefs told me you eat it like a chip. Amaebi head was intimidating for me since it has all the long ass whiskers and bulging eyes but you’ll get used to it
That looks really good – do you know what the fish right below the tamago is?
1. Herring roe
2. Eat it like a chip, it’s full of flavor
That anago nigiri is massive and everything else looks awesome and fresh legit place🤙🤙🤙
The sushi zanmai in my country doesn’t serve sushi with fish that long. 😥 They use more rice and the fish is only as long as the rice. I envy you OP….
Is the middle right above the ginger a me-negi nigiri?
Go Buffs!!!
