I’m thinking that if you have an overseas guy coming to Japan and he asks for Korean food then you can take him(or her) to any yakiniku place in Japan and he will be happy.
Yakiniku is Korean.
You could also try UFO chicken.
Punggumu (can’t remember the spelling) has weekday all-you can eat lunches. This was prepandemic though. I haven’t been back since. At any rate their samgyupsal is good.
Look around Shimbashi.
“Ton-chan” is basic, but good. There’s also a Korean chicken place in Shin-Okubo I like called “Kangho Dong Chicken.”
Can’t believe I’m the first one to mention Shin-Okubo, which is full of all sorts of Korean restaurants, all kinds of styles and price levels. Look for places with Korean staff if you want authentic.

it’s doesn’t have high marks but i like [Gossam Cold Noodles](https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1304/A130401/13194657). it’s a naengmyeon place(i like bibim naengmyeon), and they do a pretty good bossam. although those are the only 2 things i order there, so maybe their low marks come from their other foods?

I never really like questions like this.
Outside of the inkaka there’s a surplus of resturants and options and I feel like no two person is going to say the same so what’s the point? Multiple people aren’t going to go “you HAVE to visit (X)” when it comes to dining in Japan since the options are so vast. Even when you narrow it down to a specific area the options are still so vast.
Your friend wants to eat in Shin-Okubo? Go to Shin-Okubo and walk around, look at all the menus and pick what strikes your fancy the most. This is always the best way to find something imho.
And Japanese Yakiniku is not ‘Korean’ Korean unless it’s an established and and marketed Korean restaurant. It’s more like what Americans think of Hibachi experience as Japanese even though it’s mostly a Japanese-American thing. The dishes, presentation, and flavors of the sauces are vastly different from Korean bbq.
