Hi, hope this doesnt go against the translation rules…
Had a dinner in this authentic Izakaya that i go to all the time, and often bring dates there because it is a very unique and great experience. I am a regular, but am also not japanese nor speak japanese, and am very grateful the host and other regulars have accepted me there. Some the regulars offered me a drink the other day, and we talked about all the dates ive had over the year.
They said something that stuck with me, and made me curious. They called me something in japanese, and gave me a very rough translation that i thought was funny. They translated the phrase to, “A butterfly that visits many flowers.” Anyways, im curious about it and what the actual phrase was! hehe
