  1. Let’s not kid ourselves. Most of the handout is just going to savings. If the gov want to help the economy, give out vouchers with an expiration date.

  2. It seems that no matter how hard Japan brainstorms ways to improve their economy, demographics, and social issues, the only thing they keep coming up with is to simply throw money at people.

    – Not having kids? Throw money at families who give birth.
    – People not making their MyNumber cards? Give money to everyone who does it.
    – Businesses struggling? Throw money at them.
    – Want to revitalize the country? Give every person some cash.

  3. Welcome to another episode of The Ruling Party Wants to Give Money Away. But really, as long as the Bank of Japan doesn’t raise interetr rates, nothing is going to change.

    Kishida just wants to give away money to increase his failling support rate.
