Hi everyone, has anyone ever had to return a big item back to Amazon japan. Im having trouble finding the correct process. I can see for the yupack service, the maximum dimension is 170cm with the Amazon service. I received the item with yamato service originally.
I have contacted Amazon support and they told me to use any service and that they would try to refund the return cost. I checked yamato and it is a whooping 4300 yen.
Anyone have ideas what to do or any advice

Pay the whooping yen and have it refunded as instructed. Why are you asking us?
just print the label and send it with the nearest option that will take it.
Just get a 着払い slip for Kuroneko Yamato and send it that way.
Returned an open double mattress (25k yen) since the springs were broken. Used sagawa and indicated that Amazon will pay for the shipping. You should coordinate with sagawa on the pick up date and time as this could take up to a week which might make it ineligible to return. Received the refund after a few days.
I have returned a few items to Amazon Japan and did it all online with no extra shipping costs and was refunded within a few weeks. Isn’t this option in your account page and it is in English? They even provide a barcode and address to be printed and you simply tape that to the box and let the shipping company come pick it up. Painless and quick.
