Itinerary Check: 11 days in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka, and Kyoto

I am doing my first solo international trip and it is to Japan.

**Day 1 – Tokyo (Chiba)**

* Visit Family, stay with them/rest

**Day 2 – Tokyo**

* Kegon Falls
* Akechidaira Ropeway Observation Deck
* ***Would like advice on anything else to do on this day***

**Day 3 – Tokyo**

* DisneySea with family

**Day 4 – Tokyo (Sunday)**

* Go to Hiroshima from Kashiwa-Tanaka station (JR Pass)
* Check-in to hotel

**Day 5 – Hiroshima**

* Shukkeien Garden
* Hiroshima Castle
* Peace Memorial Park

**Day 6 – Miyajima and Osaka**

* Go to Miyajima Island
* Daishoin
* Itsukushima
* Return to Hiroshima and go to Shin-Osaka (JR Pass)
* Tempozan Market Place (Food)
* Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel at night

**Day 7 & 8 – Kyoto**

Since it is a short trip form Osaka, my plan is to stay in hotel in Osaka since hotel was cheap and I can explore at night time and just leave in the morning to Kyoto on days 7 and 8 and get back at night (checking out of hotel on day 8 before going to Kyoto and back to Tokyo)

I am not sure what the ideal way to do the Kyoto locations in the 2 days would and would really appreciate advice/guidance (including the order/time to visit places).

* Eikan-dō (Zenrin-ji) Temple
* Fushimi Inari Taisha
* Kinkaku-ji
* Kifune Shrine
* Mount Kurama

**Day 9 and 10 – Tokyo**

* Sensō-ji
* Imperial Palace
* Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
* Tokyo Tower
* Shibuya Scramble Crossing
* The National Art Center Tokyo
* FUJIFILM SQUARE
* Akhibara Shopping?
* ***Would like advice on improving this day***

**Day 11 – Back to U.S.**

Leave Japan in the afternoon

EDIT: I don’t plan to hit 100% just rough estimate, depends on how the day goes I probably will skip things if there’s not enough time.

  1. You don’t mention which season you are going in? For example, in December Akechidaira ropeway is a waste of time, Eikando is really only famous for the two weeks of foliage season, etc.
