  1. Finished filling out my “kanji grid” (it’s an anki plugin) all the way through N2. That means I have at least one (usually a few) words for all those N5-N2 kanji. Still have about 600 of the N1 kanji to go though. Which will probably take me a while, if I ever even do it.

    My last N2 kanji was 療. It’s used in a lot of “treatment” type words which almost feel like they are the same word to me. But I guess in English, what’s the difference between “cure” and “remedy” and similar words. Maybe there is one but IDK.

    My kanji yesterday was 墨[すみ], which is one of those rare words I actually already knew about before I even started studying Japanese, because sumi ink drawings are of course famous.

    Also learned 軸 which seems cool because a “scroll” is a perfect representation of what an “axis/axel” is/does. I saw it in a book in the word 掛け軸.
