Recently I’ve seen a lot of drivers with this orange or sometimes blue iridescent film on the windshield. Has anyone else seen this? Does this not break the tint law? If not, I’d like to get in on it, lol.
Probably not illegal or not illegal enough for the cops to care.
I still have hard time understanding how I’ll be driving along at night then see blinding lights ahead, thinking maybe there’s a horrible accident or something. Only to find out it’s some trucker with half a million led lights of every color on his truck. And he’s in the passing lane trying to pass another truck who’s going 0.001kph too slow.
Likely they’ll need to remove it when it’s time to do Shaken, or they have a garage that is happy to bend the rules for them.
It’s pretty common practice here when doing shaken to remove any offending parts from your vehicle, get the check done, then reinstall said offending parts.
