  1. Vince looking like a lead scientist commanding his experimental super sentai soldier to go do battle

  2. Was this picture taken at a show in Japan? oh actually this was in the USA or somewhere else?

  3. There’s a story that years later, Vince said he had no idea who Liger was, and someone showed him this exact picture.

Somewhat surprisingly, this show was booked pretty evenly with all three companies looking strong. Vince must not have cared what happened as long as his two top stars (Warrior and Hogan) didn’t lose. There was also a 20 minute match between Misawa and Bret Hart on this show, which I’m sure has to be no less than excellent.

  4. Vince looks like he’s playing YuGiOh and just summoned Liger to attack his opponents’ life points directly.

  5. Why is this a “Real Forbidden pic?”

At that time – things like talent sharing/joint shows were fairly common and not “forbidden” at all

  6. It feels like an annual tradition that I see this pic here or on Squared Circle.

  7. Loving the pokemon vibes. If I could summon Liger to solve whatever ills occur I would abuse the shit out of it. Would get excessive after a while. “I’m sorry sir your card has bee-”

    “SHOTEI!!!”

  8. Vince

See right there that’s the ref I had “consensual relations” with. Go ahead and ask her. I have testicles the size of grapefruits.

  9. I don’t really know what Forbidden Door is supposed to mean anymore. Wasn’t Liger also in NXT? In 1993/94 Regis Philbin was on the screen standing next to Genichiro Tenryu and Koji Kitao, and that was certainly the opening of a very unusual door.
