We didn’t make it to Nobeoka to the original restaurant but my sister in law took us to a local restaurant in Miyazaki City. 900 yen and totally stuffed from this lunch. Maybe we will make it to Nobeoka on our next trip here.
Never been to Miyazaki but I ate this at a festival in Tokyo once and it was extremely delicious
What is in the soup besides the radish and chive? Is it fried tofu?
so glad to see my city on this sub. Don’t wanna ask you to post the exact restaurant in case u don’t feel comfy saying so, but do you know around where you went?
Love it when I see it. So often “chicken nanban” is just karaage with a tartar sauce. The key other unloved half is the sweet vinegar sauce that the meat is dunked in.
