Hi, I’m a foreign high school student in Tokyo. I’ve lived here for almost 4 years now, but have barley able to hang out with anyone.

Hi this is not the right place for teenagers. There are a lot of predators here.
There’s not many people in this sub that are worthy of being your friend! Maybe try talking to another one in your classroom who seems lonely.
Solitude has its merit. During my high school days I was also alone but I had a lot of time and freedom to do my things because of that.
Why don’t you join a club or sports team at your school? I think that’s the quickest way to make friends. If you want non Japanese friends try to find the nearest international school.
But yea like others posted, you shouldn’t be asking for friendship from strangers on Reddit…
