Tokyo Itinerary // Need Feedback

Me (19) and my Father (50) are going to Japan for the first time, and I made this rough itinerary for Tokyo. We are fast paced people, so it is packed in 3 days and I would like to know if it’s feasible.

Day 1:
– Arrive in Haneda (5pm), clear customs, immigration, and get a welcome Suica card
– Check into our hotel, drop off luggage and get dinner at Coco Ichibanya

Day 2:
– Eat Breakfast at 7-11
– Take the train to Asakusa and explore
– Go to Ueno Park and a museum (if time permits)
– Eat a street food lunch at Ameyoko Shopping District
– Spend the rest of the day at Akihabara
– Eat dinner at Gyukatsu Motomura

Day 3:
– Eat Breakfast at Family Mart
– Walk to Shiba Park for the Temple and Tokyo Tower
– Take the train to Harajuku and explore
– Eat lunch at Roast beef ohno
– Spend the rest of the day at Shibuya and get lunch at a ramen joint

Day 4:
– Take the train to Ginza
– Eat breakfast at A Happy Pancake
– Shop in Ginza
– Walk to Marunouchi for the square
– Guided tour of imperial palace
– Take the train to Shinjuku
– Go to the observation deck and Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
– Explore Kabukicho and eat dinner at Omoide Yokocho

Day 5:
– Take the bullet train to Hakone and eat Ekiben for breakfast
– Store luggage in lockers
– Take the bus to the pirate ship port and do the cruise
– Take the ropeway to a hotel with an onsen overlooking Fuji
– Eat at the Hotel Buffet
– Take the bus back to Odawara and take the Shinkansen to Osaka (our next destination)

  1. Depending on start point in Tokyo, consider the Odakyu Romancecar to Hakone, the train start in Shinjuku.

    Do not really understand the stopping at a hotel for the onsen, eating at the buffet and not staying for the night. Also is this something you already found a place to do it or you just figure it exist ?
