I am travelling overseas for a holiday next month, and wondering if Japan Post Bank can convert JPY (cash) into AUD (cash)? My searches just come up with remittance/bank transfers which I do not want to do.
Anyone know if they offer this service?
Edit: Thanks for everyone’s help/advice. Am just going to paypal transfer $200 AUD to my brother and he will give me cash when I arrive, and other than that mostly use my rakuten credit card at stores. Seems there is only a 1.63% transaction fee, and since I don’t plan to buy much it should hopefully be okay.

No, absolutely not. They did offer it at some point but it’s been closed: 外貨両替は、2021年12月30日(木)をもってお取り扱いを終了いたしました。
Where are you located? Your best bet would probably be just changing a minimum required amount to get some cash in hand at a currency exchange (if in tokyo, ninja exchange near shinjuku station ran by interbank has pretty decent rates) and then withdrawing cash from ATM once you land in Australia.
There is a currency exchange delivery service. [Travelex](https://www.travelex.co.jp/travelex-online)
It’s no different to what you can get at the airport though.
Mizuho is my go to for currency exchanges and I have a Prestia account. They’re just easier and their fees aren’t significantly different than banks I actually have an account with.
Not many places in Australia use cash these days so you’d be better off using card of some kind if possible
