3rd party battery replacement for iPhone 11 pro – will battery percentage show up on status bar?

I know the battery health feature might not work unless the BMS is spot weld on the new battery but can I at least see the battery percentage on the status bar?

Also, do the shops here change the water resistance seal?

Also, any shop recommendations are most welcome.

  1. the vast majority of shops aren’t going to do any soldering work(not welding :P), but if you poke around you might find one that’ll do the swap. I’d think asking about the seal would be part of that process.

    Unfortunately I can’t help with any recommendations, I had a screen replacement done a few years ago in a place in akihabara and I wasn’t impressed(first time around there was a dead area in a corner, they did redoit but it still felt shoddy).
