I don’t see this oddball random trio of Narita, Honma and Taguchi ending this reign. It would be such a waste if Okada/Tana/Ishii hold the titles through WK since there’s a ton of other people/units on the roster who could use it to have a program/match for WK. Really thought they were going to drop these at Ryogoku regardless who they were facing and they seem to have been backed into a corner now.

This is just Honma’s special request match since the show is in his hometown. They aren’t winning. They probably don’t lose them until next year.
tbf the 6-man belts haven’t been a priority when it comes to booking WK. I think WK 12 was the past time they were even featured on the main card.
At this point, I’m thinking there’s a decent chance we get a title change at New Years Dash. Maybe New Beginning depending on what plans are for Okada post-WK.
Honestly I thought they’d somehow drop it to GoD trio of brothers…I like Tama but did not want him to challenge Shingo in a singles…
This is merely Kokeshi getting his special homecoming match, nothing more. But the real ones can see that the company’s tryna make this current 6-man team be better than Ishii/Bishamon which ofc aint gonna be a thing.
They can have a gauntlet match for the number #1 contendership, potentially even for a New Year’s Dash title match. Would add some drama with Okada and Tana likely banged up
