  2. Reminds me of Nakatsugawa. Was there recently and despite everything being ghostly empty and nobody about when we got there late at night, the warm inviting glow of the 24-hour konbini never fails to make me feel somehow cosy.

    Also a roadside vending machine with hot chocolate. Perfect.

  5. Decent Fried Chicken or a better bowl of ramen/udon than almost anywhere in the states is only minutes away for a few hundred yen.
