I have made a final draft itinerary for my upcoming solo trip to Hokkaido in early March. I have never travelled and experienced winter and am coming from a topical country Singapore.
I will be buying 5 days JR Hokkaido pass for the travel within Hokkaido.

I do have some questions and am seeking feedback on my itinerary.
1. Is there a luggage rack for a train? Do I need to reserve luggage space for Hokuto Limited Express travelling from Sapporo to Hakodate/Noboribetsu. I will not use a luggage forwarder if I can bring my luggage onboard.
2. Is there anything to do/shop at Sapporo domestic/international landside? After checking out from my Noboribetsu hotel at 11 am I planned to travel directly to the airport since it takes 1-2hrs by limited express train so I will have 2-3hrs of free time before I clear immigration and go into the airside. My flight departs at 5.40 pm.
3. Feedback on my itinerary. Any places where I should add or remove from my itinerary? On day 3 I will only visit either the Historical Village of Hokkaido or Hokkaido Museum which is the attraction I should visit? as I still have to rush to Otaru and it takes 1.5 hours to travel there based on Google search.

If you have some extra time, you might want to try buying a yakitori bento at Hasegawa Store instead of getting ekiben at Hakodate Station. However, if you decide to purchase it, please be aware that it will be made after placing the order, so plan accordingly with some extra time.
