1. Eh, the always-on corporate atmosphere and crazy competition for decent partners means there’s not enough time to fuck for anything other than stress relief.

   In the urban area, people need to spend a lot of money to live in.
   So ordinarily couple live in urban area must work to earn money.
   Therefore most of them don’t have both money and time to birth their babies.

6. It’s sad. No more beautiful Japanese people. This kind of post or ‘news story’, just stating the facts, means very little. What will become of the Japanese race? What will happen when there are more immigrants than natives? Will Japan as a country still be the same ‘Japan’ that we came here for? The implications are huge!

8. SUPER simple solution. Fix working culture and you will have tons of babies. Remote work, no overtime and therfore option to live outside of big cities. And all of a sudden people will have time, energy and money to have children. Or just pack nearly all people into big cities and force them to work around the clock. Will at least boost the land value in Tokyo to increase cost of living on renting…oh wait.
