What kind of fish on top of my sushi is this? (Dynamite roll)

I bought this dynamite roll online, and it was supposed to be topped with salmon, but what are those other pieces?

I thought the white one is some sort of white fish, and I recognize the tuna and the shrimp one, but what is that in the middle?

Please help me😓😂

  1. not a dynamite roll, closer to a rainbow roll but there is no color to it, missing avocado

  2. REALLY bad tuna, cheap shrimp, maybe unagi, and what is AT BEST paddlefish “caviar” aka not caviar

  3. The tuna is browning because it’s so old , and that black stuff is tobikko , flying fish roe .

  4. Freezing fish has very little to do with quality in terms of making fish safe to serve while preserving the fish. There are lots of ways to prepare fish for a longer shelf life including freezing with both purpose built freezer but also most normal freezer can produce sushi quality fish. However, freezing and thanking fish over and over absolutely wrecks the quality. It looks like this fish has been through a few cycles of being brought to room temp then cooled back down, hence the brown in the tuna rather than vibrant red. To me in, Canada if you got this it would be called a rainbow roll, despite missing sliced avocado on top. Also, I thought dynamite rolls were a pretty standard thing, just like a bigger version of cali rolls with shrimp tempura included with crab sticks, cucumber, avocado.

  5. Looks like bad versions of tuna, eel, salmon and shrimp; unless I am mistaking yellow tale for tuna but seeing as though you might have bought a rainbow roll, I’m calling it tuna.
