So it’s pretty obvious Japanese people do in fact know how to read their own language, I hear people say stuff like “even natives struggle with kanji” If I’m not mistaken this can’t be further from the truth. If Japanese struggled with kanji like us foreigners do, they’d struggle to read their own language, which in this time and day, wouldn’t make much sense. But that’s not what I’m asking, what I’m asking is what if a native doesn’t know how to WRITE a specific kanji on paper? What are some methods natives use to cope with this?
