requesting advice on learning onomatopoeias!

I swear these leak in and out of my memory every day. i’m finally at the point where i can more or less comfortably read novels but it feels like i come across a new one every other page 😅 (today’s was タジタジ meaning flinchingly or falteringly). would love any advice on how to better learn and differentiate these beyond just reading/immersing more to increase number of encounters. Thank you all!

BONUS: also, if anyone can help me make educated guesses on the pitch accent on these as i come across new ones that’d be wonderful. i usually read them as 頭高but i think 平板 is common too?
