About this cheesecake


I know Japan is known for for the soufflé cheesecake, but this cheesecake recipe video I saw on YouTube 9 years ago is quite interesting, it reminds me of our American cheesecake, but it has no vanilla, no sour cream(some recipe videos I saw have cheesecake), no water bath(some other recipes videos have water. The only thing that they add is the lemon juice and that’s it, I’ve seen other recipe videos used the exact same recipe albeit, some added extra ingredients, is this a specific style of cheesecake or is it just a westerner recipe adapted?
