Cesaro?
If it’s gonna be a free agent signing for AEW, could be Cesaro or Gargano? I don’t know why but these names just popped into my head as soon as I heard free agent.
Cesaro and Gargano are good ideas and smart guesses ,but here is my wild card guess…..Katsuyori Shibata, on loan for blood and guts and to represent Danielson for this match as well. He fits all the criteria Danielson mentioned and then some. The only thing people would be concerned about would be his health, but he has been getting better and getting more privileges in the ring for shows.
Kushida? Good way to slowly introduce him to the Heavyweight scene whilst giving the Jr. Heavyweight scene a much needed boost
To me it still feels like a big letdown. Danielson vs Sabre feels like the ultimate forbidden door match more that any other.
I think Zack is losing. Always bet on TBD.
So I can see Danielson happening later down the road. If this is the case Sabre will win. The Going in Raw folks did mention one person that seemed like a good fit for BCC who can eat a loss, Timothy Thatcher. Granted he’s not as big as a get as Claudio or Gargano but he fits really well.
What’s hilarious to me is they could have just cut the match from the card and no one would have been the wiser. It hadn’t been announced and there was no build to it, and to cut off the pedantic, a single line by ZSJ in a post match promo is not a build.
I want it to be Cesaro, Gargano just doesn’t seem like a fit for BCC but my money is on Timothy Thatcher as he fits in the BCC better than the other two, plus you know he will have a great match with ZSJ

The possibility of Cesaro v ZSJ makes me giddy. When Fire Pro World was released I put off playing it till there were decent edits of both wrestlers available till i played it
I do think it will be Claudio but could you imagine if it was Chris Hero? He would be a perfect fit for BCC.
ZSJ needs to beat whoever Danielson sends because the title of Best Technical wrestler in the world is on the line
