1. I decided to brave the cold to grab a photo of Matsumoto Castle at sunrise, during a recent research trip. It was actually my second visit to the castle, but I didn’t get the chance to photograph it at sunrise the first time.

   Have you ever visited any of Japan’s 12 original castles?
