Hello all and happy Christmas Eve!
I’ll be returning to my home country in February and will be getting another job in education. In the UK to work with children/ vulnerable people we need a police records check (Enhanced DBS). As I’ll have been out of the country for a while I’ve been advised that this service will check with the police services in Japan.
According to the (UK) government website I can get a police certificate from Japanese police by requesting it in my local police station and submitting my fingerprints (which I potentially have to pay to do?)
Has anyone here gone through this process before? How was it and what did it involve? Appreciate any insights, thanks!
