I’ve been watching the premier league on dazn but now dazn doesn’t have the rights to the premier league and I’ve been franticly searching for a streaming service that works in japan and one that streams the premier league.
SPOTV NOW have the rights to all Premier League games in Japan and Abema sub-license to show some of the main ones for free. Those ‘bigger’ games or ones that involve a Japanese player like Mitoma for Brighton have Japanese commentary only while the games less interesting to a Japanese audience have English only.
For example Forest v West Ham was on SPOTV in English last night followed by Chelsea v Spurs in Japanese (both require paid subscription), while Abema also showed Chelsea v Spurs last night (but for free).
I found an article saying that it’s available on ABEMA and SPOTV NOW.
