Easy and minor question here.
An Amazon shipment I ordered next-day for a project I’m trying to finish while I have time off,
Was first supposed to arrive yesterday.
I have my preference set to just leave at the door.
I was out of the house, and came home to a “delivery attempted” notice. Yamato didn’t leave it but needs a signature I guess. Minutes after I left the house too, but just bad luck.
Today, I’ve been home all day just 5 meters from the front door
Checked the status and apparently “delivery attempted” at 10:43.
Frustrating. No doorbell rung, no knock, nothing. No paper notice either so I wonder if the attempt was even made.
My questions are:
What time can I go to Yamato in person to just pick up the dang package myself? I don’t want to play phone tag while the delivery guy is still making rounds.
I also couldn’t find their holiday hours posted anywhere.
Second question: is Amazon’s shipping tracker even accurate?
Is it possible that “10:43, delivery attempted” was just a robotic posting, and the delivery guy will still be showing up later?
