I’ve been living in Japan on an Intra-company Transferee visa and I’m looking to possibly shorten the 10 year time constraint for PR. Searched this sub already but could not really find an answer.
The issue I’m having is the wording “relating to business management (MBA, MOT)” is not so clear what exactly qualifies. If it’s only MBA or MOT, or if it could be a masters in management (MiM), master of accounting or finance (which are usually within a uni’s business school).
I’m curious if anyone may have applied for the 25 points despite your degree was not exactly MBA or MOT.
**Point Calculation regarding Academics:**
Holder of a professional degree **relating to business management (MBA, MOT)**
(Note 1) The most recent educational qualification will apply (25 points if the foreign national was awarded a professional degree relating to business management (MBA, MOT) after graduating from university).
(Note 2) Regardless of the combination of degrees, materials which show the degrees were for different majors should be submitted. (Please submit an academic transcript if the differences in the majors cannot be confirmed through the diploma or degree certificate).
