Itinerary Check-10 Days in Japan

Hello, me and my two other friends, (all 18M) Will be planning on taking a trip to Japan in June 2025, from the 5th to the 15th, We have around 2,00 USD per person (not including hotel and airfare) So I would like to know if it would be more affordable to buy the JR Pass to use the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto, then to Osaka then back to Tokyo, but I have heard that the JR Pass has gone up in price recently, so I wonder if it would be more affordable to just buy the train tickets separately
