**艦内の立ち回りに絡む**
I read a novel and there’s this part which i don’t understand much. Hope someone could give me a correct definition. My guess: “changing the military hierarchy/ranks within the battle ship”
**Context: A military officer on a space battle ship is using a hypnotic device, to control both his subordinates and his superiors on the ship in order to get promoted faster. He’s talking with his subordinate.**
(Vice commander)「催眠装置ってのは本当に便利な代物だよ」
(His subordinate)「前の艦では、本当にやりたい放題されてましたからね」
(Vice commander)「そりゃ俺だって男なんだ。人を操れるってなったら、好き勝手したくなるのは当然だろ?」
(His subordinate)「当然と言われても、私は女なのでよくわかりません」
(Vice commander)「色々面倒なことをすっ飛ばせる便利なモノがあれば、最大限駆使してナンボだと思うがな」
(His subordinate)「途中で艦長が交代したのも、ご主人様の企みですよね?」
(Vice commander)「別に最初から艦長の座を狙ってたワケじゃない。あの艦長はちょっとうるさかったから、退いてもらっただけだ」
**催眠を用いて行ったのは、艦内の立ち回りに絡むことだけじゃない。**
Hey all, I’m a little stuck… I just finished the Hirigana portion on that tofugu site a few days ago, and I’m not really sure how to proceed with the next step of learning Kanji?
At the bottom of the Hirigana page on tofugu, it mentions learning Katakana which I intend to do next, but after that? I don’t have a clue. It mentions wanikani, I gave it a go and it’s all very confusing… for example, it mentions 十 with the word cross underneath it, but I don’t see any tutorial on how to type it? I.e あの (a no). 十 is just the character and English word underneath, no pronunciation is provided so I could kind of see how I could type that, if you understand what I’m trying to say.
I’m very, very new to this, as you can tell. So what do I do? I saw somebody mention jlptsensei on a post when googling my question, it’s great in regards to providing a lot of stuff for N5 Kanji, but I don’t know if I need to be focusing on Onyomi or Kunyomi? What I liked about tofugu was the fact there was a little quiz you could do, it’d show a character, you’d type A in order to get あ, it’d tell you whether or not you’re correct, and then yeah you’d carry on like that. I can’t seem to find anything like that, I’m quite lost as to where I should go next.
Sorry for the wall of text, just trying to get this off my mind so it’s probably not written very clearly. If anybody could help, I would greatly appreciate it!
